WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
We are based in Sydney, Australia.
WHERE ARE YOUR GARMENTS MADE?
The majority of our garments are still LOCALLY manufactured right here in Alexandria, Sydney. We use dead stock or recycled fabric where we can, and produce in limited quantities to minimise waste. We have just begun to trial overseas partnerships with makers we have visited in Turkey and Shanghai.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We ship both domestically and internationally and offer standard and express post options.
PRICES FOR POSTAGE WITHIN AUSTRALIA:
Standard shipping (2-5 business days) after dispatch: Starting at $9.20 AUD
Express shipping (1-3 business days) after dispatch: Starting at $20 AUD
PRICES FOR POSTAGE INTERNATIONALLY:
Standard shipping (6-14 business days) after dispatch: Starting at $18.20 AUD
Express shipping: (3-10 business days) after dispatch: Starting at $33.20 AUD
Please allow 1-5 business days for your item to be dispatched. For Pre-Orders please refer to the timeline on the product page.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & SHIPPING
My Friends Are Yours pieces are designed to be loved by you.
As a small, limited-run label still making a lot of Australian handmade pieces, we ask that you shop consciously.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but we accept returns for a store credit of 100% of the purchase value within 10 days of delivery.
TO BE ELIGIBLE:
Items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached. Returned in original packaging, free from marks or damage with your order details inside / on package.
To request a return, email hello@myfriendsareyours.com.au with your order number, item(s), and reason.
PLEASE NOTE:
Returns are at the customers expense, ideally with tracked shipping as we do not take responsibility for lost returns. This includes your original shipping cost for any reason other than receiving a faulty item. We require tracking within 7 days of emailing us to lodge your return. If we do not receive tracking in this period, your return will be invalid.
STORE CREDIT:
Issued at 100% of purchase value, valid for 2 years. Store credit purchases are final sale.
EXCHANGES:
We offer size exchanges (subject to stock availability). Please request within 10 days of delivery. If your size is unavailable, you’ll receive a store credit. One exchange per order.
SALE ITEMS:
All sale items are final sale unless faulty.
FAULTY ITEMS:
If your item is faulty or incorrect, email us within 48 hours of delivery with images.
In line with Australian Consumer Law, we will of course offer a repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.
SHIPPING:
Orders are dispatched from Sydney within 1–3 business days. Tracking is provided via email confirmation.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY:
Australia: 1–5 business days for Standard and 1-3 for Express Post.
International: 3–22 business days with Standard and 3-14 days with Express.
PLEASE NOTE:
We are not responsible for courier delays or parcels once marked delivered, please contact the relevant shipping company. For US orders this is USPS.
Re-shipping costs apply for returned parcels (incorrect address, unclaimed, unpaid duties).
International duties/taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
PREORDERS
Paid upfront and shipped once ready. Orders with pre-order items ship together.
